About Me

I am Quin Li (Quin7et), level designer/tech designer/indie dev.

I made Campfire for Ludum Dare 50. I translated this Devil Daggers guide by Braden. I have translated a few entries (into Chinese) on the SCP Foundation. I wrote a short fiction published on Science Fiction World when I was 17.

I enjoy science fictions that don’t involve space (or at least don’t make a big deal of it). I use C# for most of my projects. My favorite musician is Shostakovich. I find it terrifying that Cyberpunk is still relevant today after 40 years.

I’m currently working as level design lead for our capstone game, Caesura.

  • Making executive decisions on the overall layout of the levels.
  • Coordinate our level design team, overall quality control.
  • Interdicipline communication between environmental art and programming.

I worked as a game writer at Tencent in Shenzhen. I worked on the main questline of a released mobile game and IP building for another.

I am currently working as a freelance writer at Indienova, a Chinese indie game media. I write design analysis/critics on hidden-gem indie games. I also post Unity3D development tutorials.
